The Frahm Brothers, creators and curators of some of the world’s finest art collections, approached Brave New World to create a brand identity for the growing international phenomenon - Frahm & Frahm. The identity cuts the difficult path between striving for originality and not overpowering the art works that the brothers present. Each letter in the identity was hand cut shaped for purpose.
In keeping with our client’s mould-breaking vision, Brave New World designed the company’s now iconic ‘Frahm & Frahm’ logo. Against an intense black setting, each white letter of Frahm & Frahm is printed in a different case. The design is subtle, yet striking, highlighting the similarities and differences between the Frahm brothers. In the same vein, we developed bold, ambassadorial stationery for Frahm & Frahm, epitomizing the company’s position at the zenith of the contemporary art world. We went on to develop a website and an an app for the international Frahm & Frahm exhibition at Blenheim Palace, with easy-to-navigate exhibition guides and information about each Frahm founder. Finally, Brave New World was chosen to oversee a limited-edition monograph of Ai Weiwei’s work, each signed by the artist, featuring 700 pages of images and text. Our bold and sophisticated branding helped the Frahm brothers cement their position as art world visionaries in a league of their own.
