The Coral Room, The Bloomsbury Hotel

Identity

Brave New World named and designed the identity for The Coral Room. Situated in The Bloomsbury Hotel, a masterpiece built by Sir Edwin Lutyens in 1928. The Coral Bar identity both pays homage to the 20's heritage and gives a contemporary feel. The bar was designed by Martin Brudnizki.

The identity for The Coral Room formed part of our seven year assignment to build the Doyle Collection brand - of which the positioning and new identity of The Bloomsbury Hotel (in which The Coral Bar is situated) was an essential element. The Coral Room’s colour, chosen for its historical Art Deco heritage, speaks of grace and sophistication. The four breathtaking Murano chandeliers add an arresting, glacial elegance. The centerpiece chrome and marble bar is a salute to the iconic cocktail bars of the Roaring Twenties. With its modern-day Agatha Christie air, The Coral Room has been lauded as one of the most elegant venues in the capital to plan a murder or sip a Manhattan.
